Tyrone Smith is a teenager who is trying to make the best of his life by staying out of trouble, and later on, he befriended his neighbor, Klaire Wentzil, who became a sister figure to him. Tyrone was also the first to discover Klaire Wentzil ability to teleport and leave behind a brief reflection of herself in suspended animation. When Klaire told Tyrone that she couldn't control it, Tyrone told her that he can help her control her powers. As the days went on, trouble started in Tyrone's town and he does everything in his power to protect his neighbors from trouble, with Klaire, who started to master her abilities, aiding him in the process.

Tyrone soon made an enemy with gangsters, who robbed his childhood friend of his bike, phone and a suitcase of cash he was suppose to bring to an armed truck. Seeing this, Tyrone and Klaire devised a plan to get those belongings back, with Klaire telling Tyrone she could get it back easily. Tyrone and Klaire decided to pull this off during a house party, where the gang leader, who stole the goods, kept everything in a room in the second floor. Tyrone was going to sneak in, but Klaire told Tyrone that she could get everything back using her powers, stated she would like to play hero for once.

Klaire did just that but she was compromised, spotted by one of the gangsters who just walked into the room. Klaire was stunned for a few seconds and right before the gangster could grab her, Klaire teleported back to where Tyrone was in fear. Tyrone comforted her and the two fled.

The next day Tyrone was at a corner store, while Klaire was at the entrance chewing gum and listening to breaking news on her phone. Klaire looked up and spotted the gangsters roll up in a car and they pushed Klaire around asking for Tyrone. Klaire yelled Tyrone's name and Tyrone dropped the groceries and ran out to aid her.

Tyrone told the gangsters to chill out, but they got rough and said to Tyrone that his little sister robbed from him, to which Tyrone stated that they always told him to do the right thing for he was the good guy in the neighborhood, he continued to say that they robbed his friend who could have lost his job, to which the gangster stated they don't care. Tyrone continued to argue with them and the head gangster started to fight Tyrone. He stabbed Tyrone than got in his car and ran off. Klaire Wentzil was in shock and wasn't thinking right at this moment, she took Tyrone to a random fountain and tried to see if she could stop the bleeding, even taking off her jacket to put pressure to the wound. She was thinking of bringing Tyrone to a hospital, but didn't want his mother to find out what happened. So she took Tyrone to a Tree-house in the park. Hours later, Tyrone woke up and sees Klaire sleeping at the entrance of the Tree-house as if she was keeping an eye out for someone. Tyrone saw his wound healed up, thinking Klaire helped him, then he saw himself in a mirror and sees that his eyes are white, and out of fear and hit the mirror, literally punching a hole in the mirror and the Tree-house, waking up Klaire. He told her he is still in pain, but feels as though he is like her now but different.

Weeks later, the gangsters started to take up more territory, in order to proof dominance on the town, until the Animal Pack showed up. Gangsters dressed up in animal masks. This eventually lead to a gang war with the new gang in town, people fighting for power with innocence getting in the way. During this time Klaire and Tyrone focused more on defending people in their part of the neighborhood from the gang wars. This lead a former Navy Seal turned SWAT to crackdown on the gangs, including the new gangsters in town. This also got members of the young CIA program on the case, Mikhaela Terwilliger. Tyrone and Klaire briefly aids DJ and Mikhaela to stop the gang war, and find out who is the leader of the Animal Pack.

After these events, peace came to Chicago and Tyrone thanked DJ and everyone who helped, despite Tyrone's little presence during the crisis. Months later, Tyrone discovered he was a Dragni and soon was being persuaded by a man by the name of AllFather, to come to Australia and join his group, Th White Dragon Clan.
