Kai'Talos Martinez, the son of a well known Archaeologist, is another rival to James and he is also an over protective brother to Sakura and beats down on anyone bothering her.

=Neo x Ninja=

Kai'Talos Martinez has met with someone by the name of Yamato Takeru, also known as Jenji, the two quickly became friends and trained with each other, Jenji revealing his clan to Kai. Jenji also trained Kai's adopted sister, Sakura a bit before the events of Cybernetic Threat.

=Rivalry with James=

Ever since Sakura joined his family, he had someone to play with when he was a kid because his father was always away and his mother was busy herself. Kai'Talos Martinez family was rich, however, he doesn't seem to care about this because he thinks money doesn't bring happiness. But his friends mock him saying they wish to be him.
Kai'Talos Martinez eventually made a small group called the Talos Gang, but they had no purpose, they just relax and hang out with each other and only act tough when some random person enters their turf.

Soon when James had to help out at the school he was attending, he eventually met with Sakura again, however, her appearance was different, and ever since her memory lose, she is unable to recognize James, but kept looking at him. Also at the time, Sakura looked older and had grew out her hair. When James confronted her to refresh her memory, he is stopped by Kai'Talos Martinez. James instantly knew that Kai was a Red Dragni like him, in addition, he tells Kai he knows Sakura well, Kai'Talos Martinez tells her this but she doesn't recall James. This lead Kai'Talos Martinez to push James, making fun of him in Spanish, knowing James had no clue of what he is saying. Soon the two began to fight with James quickly catching Kai'Talos' arms, and they were stopped by the principle of the school. AS Kai'Talos walked away with his sister and crew, he threatens James that he would beat him in a fight. James' friend, Miranda tells James to not mess with him, but James tells her that he needs to see Sakura again, which worried Miranda, because she was apparently James' girlfriend in the past.

=Fighting James=

Kai'Talos Martinez got his catch to fight James in a Hispanic Parade. As James attempted again to get to Sakura, he is stopped by Kai'Talos Martinez, and began to fight James. Kai'Talos Martinez himself was a skilled boxer, and he had learned some moves from his friend of the Neo x Clan, making him somewhat of a decent opponent to James. James was able to defeat him, however, Kai'Talos still wouldn't let him, getting 2 cheap shots at James, knocking him out. James was dazed as Kai'Talos ranted in his language and walks away, however, Sakura walked to James who was on the group and said she truly doesn't know him, but reintroduced herself to him. She kissed James on his forehead and took off.

=Trivia=

*Kai'Talos Martinez and Yamato Takeru share the same rivalry with James, however, Yamato Takeru is more dangerous with his encounters with James.
