The mechanical protector of the Aquatic Tower's interior is The Sentinel. The Sentinel had been created by the ancestors of the Zora, who wanted the Tower to be protected, however, when the Tower had been abandoned, The Sentinel had been locked inside with whoever and whatever chose to stay behind, now under his control. The Sentinel is also responsible for nursing the mutated serpent that rests inside the Tower.
