Battle for Ash Valley

Confused about her father's corruption, she still takes orders from him and carries out his plan to destroy The Aquatic Tower, however, his purpose was unclear, and this sensitive information somehow got out and this prompted The Returners Gang to take action. Miltius had his soldiers go to the volcano to create a cannon capable of downing the Tower. As for the Returners, the leader in orders them that the tower is protected by an old Sentinel and is capable of countering the attack of Militus back to Fuerur Isle, and this counter could probably hit the village and destroy it, killing people in the process. In order to prevent this, Returners made a plan to stop the cannon's production by defeating Militus and his mechas.

During the Ash Valley Battle, Cynthia informs the group to surrender, however, after hearing about the devastation that is soon to come, she ignored it and had the mechas continue to salvage rocks and metals within Ash Valley, forcing the Returners to defeat them.

Angered by this, Militus told Cynthia to control her kiddie friends or they will be hurt, at this the Returners, accompanied by Link and friends made it inside The Black Herot. Angered by this, Cynthia searched out each member one by one and defeated them, in the process making her very weary. While resting in a room, Link stumbles into her chamber, and she threatens Link that she will bash his face in with her foot and engages in battle with Link. After her defeat, she tells Link that she calls it quits, adding her father had gone mad. She also mention that if the tower cannot be destroyed, why try to do it in the first place..

Stopping Militus from killing Link

Link wasn't able to break throw The Black Knight's Armor, making this fight one-sided, it came to a point where Cynthia had to step in and calm her father down, after Sane got through to her, she now realized that her father had been corrupted by dark energy. She gives Link a Bomb Bag, which is capable of breaking her father's armor, defeating Militus, sending him into a coma after he is defeated.

Cynthia thanks Link and tells him that the tower had been sealed off by the ancestors of the Zoras in the past and it is unable to be accessed by anyone, however, thanks to Malakai, he was able to know the whereabouts of the broken key to get inside the tower. Cynthia Stonefield picks up her father and begins carrying her father to his chambers, however, she makes a remark to Link and Sane before she left.

After the events of The Aquatic Tower

Her father had awaken, and tells Link and the others that he was sorry and had went mad after his director gave him something to drink. Cynthia wanted to seek revenge, however, she sought out the director's son, Bellum. Bellum tells the group that his father had been affiliated with a group known as NADI, however, he didn't join his father. During the Ash Valley event, Bellum tells the group that his father ran off and he doesn't know where he went. At this Militus told his daughter to stay down for now and rest up to fight another day.

Shipwrecked Gog

Cynthia Stonefield briefly appears with Link and Gemmy to save Gemmy's little sister, in which Coss failed to protect her that night. Cynthia Stonefield tells Link that Gog is a Sea Raider and is currently resting up at the coat of Fy'Vash's beaches. After this she tells the group she is busy with other things at the moment and goes back to the Herot. She is later allied with Daniel Goom's resistance against NADI.

Trivia

• Cynthia Stonefield is inspired by Cynthia from Pokemon Diamond/Pearl and onwards and the somewhat personality and clothing of Ayla from Chrono Trigger.
• Cynthia Stonefield comments are also similar to Cynthia in Pokemon Diamonad/Pearl.
• Cynthia Stonefield strongest attacks is her kicks.
• Cynthia Stonefield has a lot of HP, she takes hits before being downed by Link.
• Cynthia Stonefield is a rival to the Gorons being called Stone Fist due to being the only young human female to easily match them in battle. She had been training with Gorons in the past.
• Cynthia Stonefield original love interest was Sane, however, the story had been changed a few times. Originally after Militus's defeat she kisses Sane, and afterwards during the game the two sent letters to each other to remain safe. Later on changed due to the story and the age of both characters.
• Cynthia Stonefield hands and feet are so rough it feels like stones, this explains why when Link (The player) is damaged/hit a chuck of HP is depleted.
• Cynthia Stonefield remark to Link and Sane was a flirtatious one, it is reveal in Cynthia Stonefield diary she wishes to be the wife/mate to a strong man and or a man who is capable of carrying his own load, someone who shares her interests.
• Cynthia's Game Over scene is one of the few whereas it is unlikely the player has been killed at the end.
• Cynthia Stonefield was able to defeat most of the Returners Gang, however, she did not run into Link and or his company until the very end. The reason for this is because *Gemmy, Skull Kid and Kafei remained outside to block the entrance, as for Sane he was inside the lobby the whole time, while the rest of Malakai's gang were inside.
• Cynthia Stonefield didn't care about the warning of the Tower capable to counter a massive attack, however, she only then realized later on the destruction that the cannon would cause if it did happen.
• Cynthia Stonefield mention she met the King of Novos Orsa, however, his whereabouts is unknown.
• Cynthia Stonefield is good friends with Ameera, Zelda and Zula.
• Cynthia Stonefield for some reason likes Gorons, often think she is one of them despite her race being human. She also wonders if there is any female Gorons; this is also a mystery to everyone, including Zelda Fans :s.
