Konta and the Dragon

The birth of brothers

The high-class Konta family, who made it their life to care for the unfortunate people of Old Japan. The family opened up shelters, food storage, orphanages and more. Soon the couple had a son named Akhiro Nagano Konta, the middle named given by the father, and the younger brother named Joseph Konta, named by the mother for she had loved the story of Joseph of bible times.

Wanting to be a fighter, to represent his broken country

Growing up, Joseph Konta wanted to learn a way to defend himself after a crazed Japanese man had held up a convenient Store, with the brothers working in the back, cleaning up the storage room. The brothers confronted the man wielding the knife and Akhiro disarmed him easily, breaking the man's hand in the process. Joseph Konta was interested in how his brother was able to defend himself and after the cops came, Ahkiro joked that he had secretly learned Martial Arts when he was 6. Soon, Joseph Konta began to learn from his brother, and ended up going to a academy for Marital Arts, during his training, he studied up on other methods, other fighting styles, and soon, learned about the way of The Samurai with use of a Sword. Among the other students, The Konta brothers learned and adapt to a style quickly, and mixed in what they've learned with previous fighting styles.

Overtime, despite the corruption brewing in Old Japan, Joseph Konta is now a recognized native to Old Japan, from time to time he met with brother, Akhiro Nagano Konta, who decided to leave for New Japan, at the age of 16 in order to shy away from the brewing corruption Old Japan had still been falling into.

Joesph Konta wanted to be the best fighter in the far east and prove himself to be among the fighters in Old Japan, however at the time, Old Japan at the time was suffering from corruption in some parts and this began to show mainly on the news. Technologies had been introduced to Old Japan, in order to compete with other nations in the world, however, Joseph continued to do his training, not letting stuff like this distract him. He later learned that the government of Old Japan are not trying to aid the people there and the country had finally began to revolt against the government, some parts of Old Japan remain neutral, even the Tokyo. Due to this, Joseph Konta had thoughts of going to see his brother, and probably move to the fabled New Japan.

Aino University Grad, After College

When Joseph Konta was very intelligent, and was done with Aino University in Ibaraki, Osaka, the college he attended to at the time. He was the youngest (age 18) of the graduating students and he was questioned by his professors and peers about what he wants to do with his life, because he was a genius who could make an impact on Old Japan, to do things bigger than his peers and or to make a lot of money. However, Joseph did not answer the question correctly, stating he just wanted to test his intelligence, adding in examples of his high GPA and honors. At the age of 18, Joseph moved out of his brother's old house and left it under the care of the University's only janitor, stating that the poor man needed a place for him and his family to live, giving Akhiro's old house to the old man to care for it.

Leaving the old for the new

Thoughts began to overcome Joseph again about going to live with his brother and he had finally made the decision to do so. The Janitor, who now lives there, offered to drive Joseph to Mayazaki's port town, this trip would take at least 2 days, due to Joseph place of residents was in Osaka. After the 2 days, Joseph arrived in Mayazaki's port town at night and the Janitor told him he has a friend who could use a boat to bring him there. The boat had a GPS system to pin point the location of New Japan, the land covered by mist.

The Janitor accompanied Joseph on his way there along with the Ship Master. This trip along took a considerable amount of time because New Japan was located on the far South-East of Old Japan, somewhere within the Pacific Ocean.

Upon arrival, Joseph and company were stopped at the docks by men who wore old fashion Japanese clothing, and the men had some equipment that would make one think they are Shinobi. The men told Joseph and company to return to where they came from, and added that they respect the men for passing through the thick fog. But Joseph did not want to leave, he told the men that he come as an alien to be turned into a resident in New Japan. The men told Joseph why is it he wish to stay there, besides the fact he wanted to become a resident. Joseph added, that he wanted to live with his brother who moved there a while back, and stated his name, Ahkiro Nagano Konta.

The men were shocked and said if Joseph was really his brother, and they told the men to come with them, however, The Janitor respected them, he stated he will return back to Old Japan, and thanked Joseph before him and the Ship Master returned home.

It was late at night and Joseph had to stay in the small house with the men, and they offered him the house and said they will sleep outside. Joseph took the offer and rested that night.

A native to New Japan, the death of Nagano Konta

The next morning, a woman woke Joseph up and offered him clothing, but he had to go take a bath inside a nearby bathhouse. It was odd at first for Joseph because bathhouses back in Old Japan had little existence and this was his first time there. After bathing he was given cloth/leather tunic and leggings to wear. The woman had also made breakfast for Joseph and the men who were there. The men revealed themselves to be Chigo and Rku, brothers, and they told Joseph that they were part of the Yakyuza. They told a bit of history to Joseph saying that back in Old Japan, long time ago, a terrible earthquake had happens, which formed New Japan, and the land had been barren ever since. He stated that when the years went by, The Yakyuza who station in Old Japan was a criminal organization, to where Joseph added that he had studied them and that they still operate in Old Japan. Chigo continued saying that a war broke and caused the Yakyuza to disband and a few of their members had fled Old Japan. They took a boat, having family members with them, and the boat had almost been wrecked during a storm and the people ended up on the island now known as New Japan. The Yakyuza had a change of heart and wanted to start over, they wanted peace and change, so they took up the island and continue to live a peaceful life without corruption or technology, away from the world, and remain neutral and hidden.

After this interesting talk and wonderful breakfast, the men wanted to bring Joseph to his brother, who is now an owner of a Dojo. Chigo mention many good deeds of Joseph's brother and said that his son has been trained by him, Chigo's brother added that his son trains with him as well. The men got up, Chigo kissed his wife, and the 3 began to travel to the Dojo where Ahkiro Nagano Konta is now living in.

Brothers reunited

The journey took them into many parts of New Japan, and this surprised Joseph to how people lived as if they were as in olden times of Japan.

Joseph lived with his brother at his dojo, The Academy for those who want to be strong will and disciplined. Despite being better than his older brother, Joseph had a lot of respect for him and helped him out, even becoming a mentor to his students. Months later, the father of the brothers had died, forcing them to go back to Old Japan for Nagano Konta's funeral. After this, the brothers remained in Old Japan for a period of dys, in order to care for their mother, Akibu Konta. During the time there, Joseph went and roam the streets and ran into a mysterious woman, but continued to walk off to a diner in Northern area of Ibaraki. The same woman from earlier was there, on her computer, sitting right behind Joesph. AS shy as she was, she struggled to introduce herself.

Due to this, Joseph didn't hesitate to talk to her, and quickly he became interested in her, however, unknown to Joesph, this girl had been suffering from amnesia at the time, and reveals to Joesph she brings her computer with her everywhere she goes so that she can document what she just did, joking the computer is her life. Since Joseph wasn't a technology person, didn't forget the girl's face, or her name, Hinata Hirada Ishibash. Upon exiting, an older thugish Japanese man entered the diner, and the girl talked to this guy, revealing the man to be her older brother, Cheng Shinoda Ishibash. The man went outside and stopped Joesph and told him if he ever wants to train with him sometime, and the two agreed, and became friends, however, he didn't like the idea of his sister taking an interest in Joesph.

Going back to New Japan

The brothers went back, taking their mother along with them, to live with them at the dojo. Joseph often finds himself distracted by the memories of Hinata, about how beautiful she was and that her eyes strike his feelings, his heart. Akhiro Nagano Konta himself managed to find a wife, in New Japan and married her, and to the brothers surprise, Akhiro's wife family had a bloodline to Samurai's of olden times. The students didn't know the brothers, and Akhiro's new wife were trained in such an art, and begged for this style to be learned at the dojo, so the next month, anyone who were skilled and disciple would be able to attend this training, and the teacher for this was Joseph Konta, replacing his brother because he had went off elsewhere in New Japan for his honeymoon. Joesph was knowledgeable and skilled with the way of the Samurai, and secretly, he had knowledge of The Shinobi as well.

As soon as Akhiro and Anna Konta had returned, Joseph took his leave to Old Japan, trying to seek out The Ishibash siblings.

The Secret Ishibash Dojo

It took Joseph sometime to locate them, and he took his stay at the old house of Akhiro, still being taken care of by the Janitor from his college. It took Joseph a few weeks to actually contact Cheng, and soon, Cheng was able to track him down. Cheng brought Joseph to a place, off the coast of Old Japan, and there, Joseph was admitted into the Sahdowstep Clan. Joseph and Cheng became good friends, and from the first day to months, the two trained with each other and trained others as well. During this time, Hinata was away, and had recovered her memory. Joseph wanted to talk about Hinata, however, any word of his sister makes him very mad.

Joseph spent a 2 years with The Shadowstep Clan, and made letters to his family to let them know he is alright. One night, Joseph was given a test and he had been brutally ambushed by fellow members of the clan, it was at this moment Joseph realized he had a bit of strength and speed to overpower his clan members. After this, Joseph spent the night outside in the rain and began to rest on a tree top outside. Word has gotten back to Cheng, and his father, who was displeased with Cheng's human friend roaming around. Cheng's father, who was near death, appointed him the new leader of the Sahdowstep Clan, and days later, he had died. The funeral was made in private, in order to prevent Joseph from seeing Cheng's father, who looks so disfigured and reptilian like. The next day, Cheng wanted to challenge Joseph to combat using weapons, and this time, he wanted to see if he could be just like his father. He even told Joseph to try to kill him if he could.

Joseph vs. Cheng

The friends fought each other and Joseph was able to overpower Cheng in front of his clan members, and unknowingly to him, his son Darius. Cheng had lost and Joseph had been forced by Cheng to impale him with the Katana in his hand, however Joseph did not try to kill him. This enraged Cheng and he grabbed the Katana from Joseph and committed suicide, using the method of Seppuku, despite being a Shinobi. Cheng had died, and Joseph fled into the forest within the dojo, with Hinanta following him. When he was away, Cheng was somehow revived moments later, and his eyes were glowing purple and his skin started to have scales. Hinanta chased after Joseph and told him that he had killed her brother, and now that his son will not have a father to guide him. Joseph began to cry and said that Cheng wanted this, and Hinata forgave Joseph, knowing her brother wanted this from the very beginning. Later that day, Joseph discovered that Cheng is alive and is shocked at his appearance, and talked to Joseph about the Dragni bloodline, that he is the perfect one of his kind. He goes on to saying that most of the clan members here are half Purple Dragnis, and taunted Joseph about being the only human here, mocking Joseph's strength and speed. Joseph started not to trust the other members, thinking they have plotted to kill him and decided to sleep in the forest from now on.

Cheng's wrath, Hinata's secret

After a few days, Hinanta started to remember who Joseph was, when they first met, after reviewing her computer for the first time in a few months. She had grown really close to Joseph and went after him. The two began to hang out in secret and soon, the two got married in private. The man that Hinata was suppose to marry didn't care about her, just wanting to marry her in order to have a seat next to Cheng. Even though Hinata was married, she avoid ever advance Shujo Akuzu had made, later tried to force himself on her, only having Joseph show up and both Joseph and Hinata was able to defeat the clumsy Shinobi. After this Joseph fled back into the forest, and soon he did not attend training as much as he use to, and planned to escape the island very soon.

A storm brewed that night and Joseph took his stay in some old woman's hut after paying her to rent it out, in order to avoid the storm. The woman herself went elsewhere only to be stopped by Hinata, who was looking for Joseph, the old woman directed her to his location and she managed to find Joseph. It was late and the storm continued, and soon the two met with each other and began to talked, after this the two shared a night of passion with each other.

The next day, Josepeh left Hinata, who was still sleeping in bed, and went back to the dojo and told Cheng in a few months, he will want to leave the island, adding that he is tired of being mocked, and joked about being a normal human there, adding, what about the rest of the non-Dragnis on the island. Cheng showed honor to Joseph's words, however, he he wanted to leave, he had to fight the strongest of his men, otherwise he will not be able to leave unless this challenge is done, the reason behind this is because Cheng wants to observe Joseph's peek abilities in combat. Every both Joseph fought one of Cheng's men and during that time. Akuzu got suspicious of Hinata and went on to look for her since Joseph is busy.

Akuzu managed to find Hinata, who had retired from the dojo, living in a village in the other regions of Hokkado, nearly off the broader into the Kuril Islands. He was able to hit Hinata for siding with the humans, only to be beaten by her. Aukuzu cheap-shotted Hinata and threw her, revealing the wooden crib behind the curtains. Akuzu discovered the baby of Hinata and rushed off to inform Cheng.

Joseph at the time was able to complete Cheng's challenge and was able to leave the dojo to go to where he was living on the island, however, Akuzu rushed into the room and quickly yelled at Cheng about his sister having a baby, adding the baby is the son of Joseph. Cheng shocked at this news, was enraged and happy at the same time. He told Joseph his son would make a find warrior among the clan if he bares any Dragni blood in him, however, Akuzu added, the child had dark red eyes, resulting in Cheng being more interested in the child. He had his men restrain Joseph and he wanted to go take Joseph's son, saying that if Joseph goes, his son stays. Out of fear of losing his son, Joseph wanted to challenge Cheng for his son. Which Cheng, being as cocky as he is, added, why keep this secret form him, and added he would have killed Joseph for bedding his sister. Akuzu added that Hinata was suppose to be his wife, not Joseph's. Cheng eventually decided to fight Joseph for his son, but secretly told Akuzu that he he wanted his sister, he should have killed Joseph, this revealed that Cheng was also insane, even going as far has having other people try to kill his best friend, for he cannot do this on his own because he would be driven mad like his father.

Joseph and Cheng, the fight for Jason Konta

The next day, the two were told to meet each other in the dojo's ring that sat at the top of the dojo itself, this ring had been closed for decades and finally used for the fight between these two. Joseph had planned ahead if he was to die, having Hinata and his son, Jason, to get a boat ready to leave the area. The Cheng showed up, taking off the covering on his face revealing to everyone how Dragon-like had had become, his hair was bleached blonde and his Dragon whiskers reached down to his chest, and to show that he is a pure Dragni, his eyes were glowing purple, more glow to his eyes than his sister. The two were read to kill and both of them began to fight, where in the very beginning, Cheng had the upper hand. Joseph was able to fend off most of Cheng's attacks by using Kanatas and stars, which were placed around the ring, as for Cheng, he used only his bare hands, during the fight it began to rain, and all the clan members cheered for mainly for Cheng, however, some members loved Joseph as a friend and cheered for him. Whhile the two were fighting, among the clan member saw that Akuzu had left, probably to go after Hinata and the 2 shinobi members went after him. The fight became more violent and bloody, with Joseph almost losing his life, and had to rely on his bare hands as cutting through Cheng's skin was impossible. Unknowingly to Cheng, Akuzu had poisoned him in hopes of killing both Joseph and Cheng, taking the Dynasty of Cheng's father and Hinata as a wife. Cheng was just about to brutally beat Joseph, however, the poison began to kick in, weakening Cheng, and Joseph was able to over power Cheng in the process, defeating him. Joseph was about to punch Cheng again only to have Cheng's son, Darius rush in and the child kicked Joseph's leg, telling Joseph to stop hurting his daddy, adding the two were best friends despite their differences. At this moment, Joseph picked up Cheng only to be slashed by him, this time Darius covered Joseph and told his father what is wrong with him. Cheng blamed Joseph for poisoning him, knowing he will not die from it, however, the pain was incredibly unbarring to him. Joseph, confused dodge Cheng's claws and Cheng pushed his son out of the way, injuring his son. Soon Cheng passed out. Everyone cheered for Joseph, only for a shinobi, who was injured trying to reach Joseph, saying Akuzu has his son. Joseph took the word and the location of Akuzu from the nearly dead Shinobi and rushed off to save his son. Cheng at this point was unconscious, but slowly his mind drove him into insanity.

Saving his Family

Joseph confronted Akuzu who had his son and had his wife on the floor bleeding from being beaten. Akuzu joked that everyone, including Cheng held back their strength, which could have easily crushed Joseph, and he threw Joseph son next to Hinata, who was injured badly. Akuzu then engaged in a fight with Joseph and taunted now only he will take back Hinata, but also take over after Cheng with the poison he had created. The weaken Joseph had to dodge Akuzu's attacks for he would be easily overwhelmed by an enraged Dragni, at this point, Akuzu's eyes began to glow purple and his skin had darken and he did not stop attacking. He managed to break Joseph's leg and picked up Joseph's sword and tried to stab him, however, a few Shinobis, who trusted Joseph, placed a wired around Akuzu's neck and attempted to strangle him. Joseph was aided by another Shinobi who carried his son, as for Joseph carried his wife to a boat. The Shinobi clan member stated that he is to go far away from here as possible. The boat began to go off, and the Shinobi went back to deal with Akuzu, along with his friends, however, Akuzu was able to overpower them and kill them, however, wasn't successful in tracking down Joseph and his wife.

Later that day Akuzu went back to see if Cehng was dead, however, the members placed Cheng inside a Chamber, and made Cheng's wife, Nala, who had been in hiding, to take Cheng's place and continue to care for her son, and not from a distance. Akuzu did not want to do anything stupid so he waited and plotted, and soon he planned to use Darius' son to plot his revenge as soon as he had gotten older(Probably wanting to have Darius kill Joseph's son in the future).

Returning to new Japan, a time to recover

It took Joseph 4 and a half days to get back to New Japan and back to his family. Shocked at the bloody Joseph and his wife, he explained to his brother and everyone else what has happened. Joseph and Hinata was taken care of by the herbalist in Kibou. A few months later, Joseph and Hinata had another son, and his name was James Konta, he was the splitting image, if not, an identical twin to Jason Konta, and soon, Joshua Konta. Fearing that Akuzu or the members of Shadowstep may come after them, Joseph and Hinata left the island of New Japan, but before this, Joseph told his brother to care for his sons, to watch them, to guide them, he added his second son has something different about him and he is to watch him carefully. Soon, Joseph had forged two Kanatas, and used what technology that was stashed on the boat to created a special magnetic field for the Kanatas. Joseph and Hinata left right after the death of Joseph and Akhiro's mother and they were never seen again.

• Joseph Konta had an interest in fighting and becoming the best after his father, Nagano had told him and his brothers stories of the Konta family members of olden times.
• The Konta Family are possibly the future descents of Techi Koma, a warrior that fought in the Yamato Dynasty in the past.
• Akuzu was selected to be Hinata's future husband, however, before his selection, Hinata had talked with and developed an interest in Joseph.
• Akuzu at a young age was friends with Cheng and Hinata, but he was always controlling of others.
