Dalton Ferguson had been a long time henchmen for King Sheer and his allies until he messed up bad by nearly failed his mission of stealing potential tech that is housed in a populated warehouse in England. Fearing he may be punished for a simple screw up, Dalton flees London. He was in rush a rush he took a wrong tourist cruise leading nearby New Japan.
Dalton, who took refuge in Miho, New Japan, knowing well King will send people to track him down, for King had eyes all over London City at the time. After a few days, Dalton went and participated in one of New Japan's festivals, only to obtain free food for he was hungry, only to soon by attacked by robots sent from his gang to capture him. The robots that were sent were programmed to be very brutal and forcefully caused a fire in the festival and capturing Dalton. This also resulted in James Konta, who was living in peace in New Japan, to apparently be impaled by one of these robots. James reawaken due to his Dragni abilities and destroyed these mechanical robots as if they were nothing, this cause Dalton to flee.
He managed to get back to London City and pleaded King to give him a chance, however King knew the loyality of his English brothers who side with his cause and gave Dalton another chance. After some time when Karvner came into the picture, he was sent to aid Karvner in America. After remembering what happen in New Japan and fights with Meta Humans, Dalton wanted to have this power and submitted himself as a subject to Karvner's Project AX, becoming one of James' cunning foe in combat.
When Karvner, in control of a remote cyborg, managed to get James alone and fight him, Dalton and Kaddak were on their way to apprehend whatever was left of James. As they entered the abandon warehouse, part of it blew up, thinking James was killed in the blast. As Dalton went deeper to find a body, he found a shambling figure instead, who fought him, injuring him badly, with Kaddak who almost lost himself, go in and retrieve Dalton. Dalton had to go for another upgrade and a bit of recovery, resulting in strong mechanical prosthetic to be connected to his body. Within these parts, is artificial system that kicks in rapid healing if he were to sustain heavy injuries, in addition to that, Dalton embraced his Lizard form and began to regenerate if any of his scale flesh were to be damaged badly.

- Dalton is based off a Character from Chrono Trigger.
- Dalton is one of James' early enemies, of which he had encounter at a young age, and one of the first he attempted to save in the Japanese festival.
- Dalton does not turn into a monster due to his condition, but over time, reptilian feature make him stronger and recover faster.
- Dalton was not only a henchmen, but a spy as well. This sneaky, acrobatic nature is enhanced when he becomes who he is now after Project AX.
