Mobi, the mastermind moblin who decided to go from forest dweller to a con-man, money making tycoon. He operates a private businnes in hiring other moblins, humans, etc. to do his bidding, for instance, sent out to rob and or kidnap people, forcing them to work for him. All Mobi cared about was money. One day, Mobi cam across a hooded man, who offered to give Mobi a bit of his power if he is to work with him. Mobi immediately accepted and used his new found power to continue with his private business.

Korikian Forest, confronting Link

Mobi station in the forest and waited to ambush and rob anyone who passes by. He spotted Link and had his men surround the boy. In a few hours, Mobi confronts Link and offeres him a a challenge, if Link is to win, he will be free and offered money or food, if he is to lose, he will be robbed. Link and his horse, Epona, went passed Mobi, only to be threaten, this resulted in Mobi's brother, Mobo to knock Link off his horse and chase Epona away, in addition, forces Link to fight Mobi. Mobi fought Link and was nearly defeated until he recalled the power the hooded man had given him, so he took the opportunity to use this power against Link, defeating him. Link had been quickly tied up and grouped with other individuals Mobi had captured.

Fighting Gemmy Greenstone, collapses of the Moblin Base

Mobi drained the bits of his power and demanded more. He offered the hooded man a place to stay in his base and even offered to show him the people he had captured. The hooded man took interest in one of the items Mobi confiscated, was The Fierce Deity's Mask that was still in Link's possession. Before he could examine it and reward Mobi, he was informed of an intruder and made haste to the entrance of the cave, leaving Mobi in his chamber.

The intruder defeated the hooded man, who transformed into dust, in addition, with his dying breath, caused the underground to collapse. The intruder made it to Mobi's chamber and fought him. Mobi was defeated. The intruder revealed to be Gemmy, who attempted to save Link, but in the end Link saved himself and got back his items. They also rescued the other prisoners inside with Link leading the way.

Aftermath, seeking Revenge

After his escape, Mobi created a makeshift camp and ordered his brother to find Link and Gemmy. This attempted failed and Mobo reported back saying the two boys had apparently died by jumping off a waterfall. Mobi was given another chance when the dying Hooded man somehow revived himself, at this point he had a woman with him whom was unconscious at the time. He informs Mobi she will be part of a project to bring back his master. He then recruited Mobi and took him under his wing. Mobi departed from his private business and joined NADI.

Trivia

• Mobi was intend to be a rival for Link. Similar to how King Bublin served as a rival to Link in Twilight Princess.
• Mobi is among the few Moblins who can talk.
