Ivan, boy genius and former student of 2 mad scientist, was drugged by Kaddak and escaped the drug using an alternative antidote to it, water. Ivan nearly drowned himself trying to recover, this lead Kaddak and the others to think he was dead. Ivan resurfaces and stole a speedboat and went off to the islands off the coast of Florida, not wanting to be part of his former group again.

Ivan resided on empty islands North of Haiti and Dominican Republic and roamed the land, surviving off of fruit and wildlife, and he lived in an empty cave o the island. He grew up on the island and soon he spotted 2 carriers inbound for the island, but those carriers were really escape pods, both containing James and the other Jared. He also spotted a small boat that looked as though it had recently been used.

He met James, Jared, and eventually Bianca, and chose to go with James.

He started to get his memories back day by day, and his IQ started to comeback, for the drug had dumb him down. Once Ivan fully recovered, the young man became a key element to stopping weaponry from Karvner and of Sarcosa, however, he remains behind the scenes as a human AI for James, giving him information when needed, or hacking into, fetching Intel for him and Team Emerald. Ivan is also accompanied by Noah, who is a computer hacker and CIA agent.
