Leafosa is one of the major characters Link encounters in his journey. Link also accompanies Leafosa to defeat The Entity of the Forest.

Link and Leafosa

Link stumbles upon Leafosa at Orlo Gale Forest's Deku Village. In which he attempted to sneak pass the guard guarding Quite Wood Cave, at the time, Gaz, the brother of Dina, was guarding the cave upon Korri's request. Korri tells Link that Leafosa may be after the missing deku child, who ahd been missing for 2 days now. When Link got to the falls, he was told by Gaz that Leafosa succeed in getting by and advises Link that if he is to risk his life deep in the woods, he may die. After Gaz granted access to Link, Link is forced into searching for Leafosa.

On the other side of the cave, Link emerges into Quite Wood Pass, a closed off area. He finds Leafosa speaking to a Mad Deku who was there and chased after it deep in the forest, only to lost his Wooden Pistol. After Link recovers the pistol. Leafosa further explained to Link about the missing deku child and without question invited Link to join him. The two manage to find The Forest Cavern, which is blocked off by a boulder, thanks to Leafosa's pistol, somehow he was able to blow it up, revealing that he his father had the wooden pistol for him and made ammunition out of bomb flowers capable of blowing up small rocks or boulders.

Once inside, the two were greeted by the Mad Deku, who insisted the two to look for the deku child inside, out of frustration, Leafosa chases the Deku and gets lost, eventually stumbling on to a trap, which made some doors locked inside, including the makeshift cell Leafosa had been trapped inside. At this, Link attempts to find the Mad Deku, only to be attacked by it when it mutated into a giant deku, however, it's attempts to defeat Link had failed. Link recovers the Hero's Bow, and then made his way to Leafosa and save him. Link find Leafosa in a room with a heavily decomposed corpse of a human inside, and behind it was a drop area to a room below. The two dropped dwn and found a room with a girl trapped inside.

The girl attempted to subdue Link, however, Leafosa shot a deku nut at the girl, revealing the girl's true identity to be The Forest Entity (Ghost) known as Blind Jr. Once defeated, Leafosa and Link went back to Korri and explained the situation to him and the Pendant that had been found inside. Korri explained to the two the ghost wasn't able to leave because somehow the remaining force of the pendant kept it inside the cavern. At this, regardless if the Deku child is found or not, Leafosa leaves Link and heads off elsewhere, hoping to run into Link again.

With the Returners Gang in Fy'Vash

Leafosa returns with his gang and informs the group leader about Link and also how Link may help them out with their current situation. Leafosa and his gang counted down the time frame they have in order to take care of Militus' mecha army, learning that these enemies cannot be defeated without fire and or bombs. Upon Link arriving to Fy'vash, Link and company joins The Returners Gang in dealing with Militus, promising to help Link get to The Aquatic Tower in the sea. During the battle for Ash Valley, Leafosa is teamed up with Malikai, the group leader, and Coss the Poe in taking down some of Militus' mecha soldiers. ==

Trivia

• Leafosa pistol had been designed by his father, a deku who is a blacksmith.
• Leafosa is completely immune to fire, it has been revealed that past generation Dekus seek out the help of fairies and other groups to learn how to be immune to fire, thus later generations adapted such a wonderful trait, however, in addition, this immunity granted the dekus a fighting chance during the war at Broken Lands.
• Leafosa's pistol is also a homage to the Speed Shooter in Oracle of Seasons. Having different uses such as mini bombs, deku nuts, sol shoots and more.
• Leafosa is covered in so much flora, that he can basically camouflage and adapt to any situation, masking himself to be an ordinary bush.
• Leafosa claims to not have any fears, in addition, he claims to have courage, just like his grandfather.
• Leafosa is probably related to Korri and Tret Woddfall. This could be way Korri worries a lot about Leafosa.
• Leafosa and Link's first encounter, the two didn't really like each other, mainly because Link wasn't to fond of Leafosa's ever changing attitude towards him.
