Dolu was formerly a Deku Archer, however, he had since retired, still retaining visible bad scars on his mouth and around his eye. Due to the scar on his mouth, this is obvious since his speech is a bit impaired.

Last Days as an Archer

Dolu's last days as an archer were around his late 20s. He sustained his injuries, forcing him to retire. He had a daughter when he was 36 with his wife, Shola, however, afterwards, Shola continued to do what Dolu had started as an archer, and she is currently part of TSA.

Finding Link and Gemmy

Years later, Dolu offend foes to Orlo Gale Falls to find his daughter there during late nights. One night, Mizra was there, trying to pull 2 unconscious children from the small lake, hoping to save them. Dolu was accompanied by his friend, Kevin, at the time. Dolu, Mizra and Kevin brought Link adn Gemmy to his house and treated them there. Early in the morning, Gemmy took off with the help of Kevin. Dolu went back to the falls to recover Link's items, however, the curious Dekus living in the area took the items for themselves thinking that the owner will never come back for it. Dolu recovered just Link's shield, however, when the village discovered that the items belonged to Link, they began to feel regret for getting rid of it to earn money for food.

• Dolu is the only Deku in the village with Red Leafy hair.
• Dolu tends to stutter his words when he speaks to Link or anyone else.
• Dolu is good friend's with Kevin, for Kevin is the travelling musician for the Deku Village.
• Dolu and Shola often send letters to each other.
• Link receives his shield from Dolu after recovering his sword from Logus of The Woodfall Brothers.
• Dolu mentions if Link had been carrying any masks or a flute with him, for those items were among the missing; not within the forest anymore. Only times in Orlo Gale being Link's Sword and Shield.
• After Blind Jr. is defeated, if Link revisits the cavern, a group of treasure seekers are seen cleaning up what is left of the forgotten stronghold, Dolu was among the ones helping out.
