The former warrior stuck to guerrilla like tactics and brash force to kill off it's opponents, using dark energy as an instrument of destruction.

He was fed mysterious concoctions and underwent painful tests that could have ended his life. Johnathan lost his mind and finally they had enshrouded him with Dark Energy, bringing up his physical attributes and finally forming into a shadowy black beast dubbed Okari, named by Magnus himself, however as for Shawn, Magnus had planned something different for him.
Okari was used in the war and was unstable and was sealed away once defeated.
