This is the first chapter of The Legend of Zelda: Time Collapse

It where morning in Hyrule. The sounds echoed in the forests, and the sandstorms flew over the deserts. As the sun rose, Zelda watched the horizon. She where waiting. Her dreams had told her that the hero of time where returning during the dawn. She were happy to see the horse running in the far distance, but also saddened. Her dream told that Link would have to enter another big adventure, at an even larger scale than his two previous adventures. Link had gone through time with the ocarina of time, and pulled the master sword. when he got back, he where praised as a hero, but went of to look for his fairy, Navi. He had gone to an alternate realm known as Termina, whose deities where the four giants. Termina where not in good terms in Hyrule, since ancient times, Termina stated their deities where better and even built a temple to brag about it... However, thanks to the hero's deeds, Ganondorf had been captured and an entire world had been saved from a falling moon. The difficulty where escalating. Impa knew what waited for Link. And she knew he wouldnt be able to do it on his own.

Link quickly met up with Zelda, who seemed very happy to see him. Link, however, where not as happy. He where quite sad, since he failed to find Navi. He didnt know if he could find her. But Zelda tried to cheer him up, since in this mood he might get a heart-attack from the bad news. Thus, Zelda recommended Link to go back to his house in the forest. She bet that he had friends waiting for him there. Link agreed, and ran of with Epona towards the forest.

The Kokiri forest wherent as cheerful as they used to be though. Mido had attempted to hide the dead tree from everybody, but they soon found it out when expanding the village. Mido talked himself out of it, and told everybody that Link did it. Saria where the only one who had protecting him. Spring (I renamed Fado, as that name where only used by the developers, not in-game), Midos sister where even worse. She didnt know Mido lied, but actually believed Link to be a bad guy. Thus, when Link entered the forest, Spring and her friends practically attacked Link. They told him to leave, and that he where not welcome, since he are responsible for the trees death. Saria came suddenly, and told them to leave Link alone. Link hurried to her side, and they went into her house.

Saria explained the situation to Link. Mido had turned everybody against Link. Now, in all of their eyes, Link where responsible for the "chaos" that now had surfaced. But she knew another tree would sprout out soon. However, something seems to hold it back, but she doesnt know what it is. Some curse perhaps. Anyway, making the sprout grow may be the only way to regain his reputation in the forest! Link is a bit shaked by this story, but he sure decides that Mido are his enemy in this. However, Saria quickly stops him from going away, to tell him that her own ocarina had recently dissapeared. She didnt know how it could be gone. She knew she put it on the table, but after looking away once, it had suddenly dissapeared! Thats odd! Saria doesnt have any news on it, but perhaps the princess knew something.

Link mounted Epona, and left the village that now disliked him. He had to find a way to regain his reputation! As soon as he exited the forest, Zelda stood outside, saying that she had "expected him". She told him to go to the temple of time, for the big revelation. Then she used a deku nut to dissapear.

Sure enough, Link went to the temple. Inside, Zelda and Impa where waiting, as well as Kaepora Gaebora and a girl he had never seen before. Kaepora gaebora began. He said Link where gonig out on a new journey, to save the entire of Hyrule. The universe seems instable, and something from the future is trying to exterminate it using the sacred triangles. Impa continues to tell Link that the sheikah tell about the next story of the hero of time. That he will stop the apocalypse, wich is the destruction of Hyrule using the triforce from a far future. She knew it was true when she heard about Zeldas most recent dream. In fact, every night Zelda slept, for those four days Link where gone, she had dreamed about what Link was doing in Termina. She where very worried about how Link would take having to bear an entire country of lives again. Kaepora continued that in this quest, Link would have to gather 8 keys of time in order to stop the apocalypse. he himself, as rauru had created them and given them to 8 different people in the past, and the position as their guardians had been passed down through generations. Zelda told Link that with his experience, he might not have to shed any sweat, especially not now when he got an assistant. Then the girl suddenly spoke.

"Im NO assistant, THANK YOU!", she said. She truly seemed agitated. "I wont help this guy! I can do this on my own!". Impa tried to call her down, claiming that she didn't raise her to be so bad to people. Link is the hero of time, he has already saved Hyrule twice, in two different timelines! But the girl claimed she didnt beleive in such fairy tales, and would only believe it if Link proved himself, which of course he couldn't do, right? Zelda asked her if she wanted the time to collapse. "FINE, fine... I will cooperate, if i can be the leader". Link unwillingly has to say yes, and since it was settled, Kaepora told him that this could also be a good oppurtunity to not think about his old friend. Perhaps he will even find her during THIS quest? Impa tells Link that the gateway to Castor wilds has been restored, now you can travel south of Hyrule. Gladly, now Hyrule can exchange wares between Hyrule, Labrynna and Holodrum again. Kaepora tells where the four first keys lie. One lies very deep within the woods, the second one lies in the wooden parts of the mountain, the third one lies on a higher level upon the lake of Hylia and the fourth one lies by the shore south of Hyrule. Zelda then tells them to cooperate, and to take the job seriously.

To be continued (I am not done writing this chapter)
