Illrigal, also known as the Exile, is one of many enemies Link will encounter. He currently stands as the leader of The Garo Robe who took his side in the Del'Sol province. He currently stations within the old ruins of Soli'Dad, which is located to the South of the New City, buried in the sand.
Solider of Ikana
Before the events of Majora's Mask, Illrigal was a solider to the Ikana Royal Family. He was among those who had so much respect by all, including the Royal Family, in addition, Illrigal was skilled in hand-to hand combat then he is using weaponry. One night, a group of soldiers chased out a hooded figure from Ikana Canyon, but lost him. Illrigal himself hunted the hooded figure within the village complex (Which is now a cemetery). Illrigal threaten the hooded man that if he wishes to life, he is free to go,in addition, Illrigal gave the man clemency to tell his side of the story of his own presence in Ikana. The man reveal himself to be part of Garo Robe.
Joining The Garo Robe
Illrigal took the man to his home. The man questioned Illrigal if he had any family, sadly, Illrigal replied back saying he is the last of his family to be alive, saying that all of his family members died from an illness, the last being Illrigal's younger brother, Pallo. The Garo brought comfort to Illrigal and said that he doesn't see an enemy in Illrigal and offered to train him in the way of the Garo.
Illrigal trained with the Garo's for a period of 6 years. At the age of 28 Garo befriended a fairly young recruit by the name of Stelio Eziotaure. The two always challenged each other to see who can out best the other. Despite how young Stelio was, he bested Illrigal at almost every challenege possible. Illrigal was given a Garo Robe to wear as a mark of his accomplishments with them.
Ikana and The Garos
The Hooded man, who is revealed to be Peter confronted Illrigal and wanted to talk to him, saying that those Illrigal are working for are becoming power hungry, and informs Illrigal to be careful. Peter always added that the men who chased him away that night intent to kill him, saying that the Ikana King was becoming power hungry and wanted to cut-loose ends permanently, which man the Garo Robe somewhat neutral towards The Royal Family. Illrigal continued to accompany the Garos, while doing some undercover work within the walls of Ikana Castle.
Illrigal was shock and what Peter said was true. He also witnessed a Garo being beaten in his cell, only to commit suicide, a Garo Ritual in order to prevent liable information to be leaked and to destroy one's body completely. Days Later, The Ikana King took action.
