Miranda, also known as Kitty, uses her abilities to help James, despite not being a skilled fighter/swordsman. she offers James insight on areas in New York and provides anything else to aid him in the fight. She also becomes friends with Mia and other people close to James.

Trivia

• Almost every encounter she attempts to flirt with James, trying to see his reaction every time.
• James and her are not boyfriend/girlfriend, but they remain close to each other, and James is very defensive of her.
• Miranda has cat ears, whiskers and pained parts of her face to resemble a cat. In the original concept story D&D she was actually a human-cat hybrid was dating her, when her concept had changed, she was a character in a fan-comic, being a person who participated in a Dating Game show, with James being one of the contestants.
• Miranda's rival is Anita Solo, who was really working for Kaddak, for she had exploited James' abilities for her gain, in the end, she was under mind control and later seen as Cobrin's girlfriend, who helped out Garret and Team Emerald against Sheer.
